The FPM 3.3m Farming Flail Mower P-RM330 is a robust machine, which is perfect for mulching remnants of crop plants after harvesting. The resulting mulch can be a great fertiliser for future crops, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
Multiple Y-blade pairs are mounted to the cylindrical rotor in a spiral layout. This action is most efficient and creates finer cuttings. The counter blades shred the clippings even further. It is also better suited to uneven ground types than conventional rotary and topper mowers. The mower is belt driven, meaning that there are 5 drive belts which give power to the blade rotor shaft.
This machine benefits from adjustable wheels at the rear of the mower which adds to its stability. These can be adjusted up or down along with the skids to change cutting height between 2cm and 10cm. The rear roller helps to avoid blade scalping on uneven areas.
The crop residue ejection angle can be adjusted through the deflector on the rear hood for spreading or raking.
