The FPM 2.8m Universal Flail Mower P-UM280PRO+ is a robust machine, which is perfect for tackling overgrown areas. This mower is fitted with heavier hammer flails and a hardox lining so it is ideal for tougher grass and weed control, even including saplings up to 6cm in diameter. When growth is at a more manageable length, this mower gives a fine grass finish for lawns or sports fields.
Several heavy hammer blades are mounted to the cylindrical rotor in a spiral layout. This action is most efficient and creates finer cuttings. It is also better suited to uneven ground types than conventional rotary and topper mowers. The mower is belt driven, meaning that there are 5 drive belts which give power to the blade rotor shaft. The PRO+ models have a thicker blade rotor for  a stronger and more durable machine.
This machine benefits from an adjustable rear roller. This can be adjusted up or down along with the tractor top link arm to change cutting height between 3cm and 12cm. The rear roller helps to avoid blade scalping on uneven areas.
This mulcher has the option to attach to the front or rear of the tractor and a hydraulically-controlled offset. This means that it is particularly versatile.
